2011 Preseason All-Big 10 and All-SEC Teams!

In today’s blog I will conclude releasing my Preseason All Conference teams with the All-Big 10 and All-SEC teams.

In the Big 10 with the addition of Nebraska and the five key Ohio St players suspended for nearly half the season, the All-Conference teams are very well balanced and 11 of the 12 schools have at least one player on my 1st-Team! The only exception is Purdue but they have five 2nd-Team selections. Wisconsin leads the way with five 1st-Team players including RB Montee Ball while Michigan St and Nebraska are next with four 1st-Team selections. Read more…

2011 Preseason All-ACC and All-Big 12 Teams!

In today’s blog I will continue releasing my Preseason All Conference teams with the All-ACC and All-Big 12 teams.

In the ACC, Florida St returns 16 starters from last year’s 10-4 team and lead the way with seven 1st-Team selections and have severall All-American candidates including DE Brandon Jenkins. Defending ACC Champ Virginia Tech has five 1st-Teamers including CB Jayron Hosley. The Hurricanes also have five 1st-Team selections including three players on defense that each of them has All-American potential. Read more…

2011 Preseason All-CUSA and All-MWC Teams!

In today’s blog I will continue releasing my Preseason All Conference teams with the All-MWC and All-CUSA teams.

With the exodus of BYU and Utah and the inclusion of Boise St, the All-MWC team now is dominated by two national powers TCU and Boise. The Broncos lead the way with nine 1st-Team Selections including All-American and Heisman candidate QB Kellen Moore. The Horned Frogs are next in line with six players led by All-American LB Tank Carder and San Diego St is also well represented with five players on the 1st-Team. Read more…

2011 Preseason All-Independent and All-WAC Teams

In today’s blog I will continue releasing my Preseason All Conference teams with the All-Independent and All-WAC teams.

With the inclusion of BYU, the All-Independent team now becomes a bit more balanced and less ND dominated with the Cougars having several VHT and HT players of their own. Overall ND still leads the way with 15 1st Team selections (22 overall) while BYU has 7 1st Team selections (18 overall) followed by Navy with 2 (7 overall) and Army 2 (5 overall). Read more…

Preseason All Pac-10 and Independent Teams

In Today’s blog I will start releasing my Preseason All Conference teams with the PAC-10 and Independent teams.

The Pac-10 is very balanced this year as nine of the ten teams (Washington St) have a player on my 1st Team. Washington leads the way with five players led by QB Jake Locker. USC and Arizona both have four players on my 1st Team while Oregon, Oregon St, UCLA and Stanford each have 3 players.

Oregon St RB Jacquizz Rodgers and WR James Rodgers both appear on my preseason 1st Team for the 2nd year in a row as well as USC OC Kristofer O’Dowd, California LB Mike Mohamed, UCLA K Kai Forbath and California P Bryan Anger.
